I just watched “I AM” by Tom Shadyac this week and it illuminated our Master Keys study for the week brilliantly. In ‘I Am’ Tom Shadyac  begins by asking the question “what is wrong with the world and what can we do to make it better?” In a documentary style he searches and poses the question to the thinkers of the world. In the end he says “We started out looking for what was wrong with the world and ended up finding out what was right with it instead” Truly he found the correct question to ask.

In This weeks Master Keys I am struck by these two sentences “If your thought is powerful, constructive, and positive, this will be plainly evident in the state of your health, your business, and your environment” Then Haanel shares “What is this raw material which is being collected in these thousands of mental powerhouses all over the world and developed into a power which is evidently controlling every other power? In its static form it is Mind – In its dynamic form, it is THOUGHT”focused thots

It is gratitude, cooperation, love, compassion, these are the powerful vital ‘Thoughts’ that are transforming the story of our world. As Tom finds over and over in his film “We are all connected – to each other and to everything around us!” Global Consciousness; there is an identity that we all share, a cause and effect that continues to recur and resonate through us all.

Ying and Yang are not 2 separate things but one complete whole. Light-dark, high-low, hot-cold all the same but extremes of degree. We are unique individuals because of our juxtaposition to each other, our uniqueness lies in our relationship to each other thing. Yet we are all part of the same fabric, the same Universal Mind, all made up of the same particles of life.

And, as each of us in the world begins to understand that we tell our own we are powerfulstory and we begin to create a consciousness that is positive and constructive, We are changing the dynamic of the whole world!

We are many but we are  one.

Week 13 – Happiness is a state of mind

“IT will be found that the creative power of thought will explain every possible condition or experience, whether physical, mental or spiritual”  Happiness is a state of mind! 

Thinking is a creative process, in turn Vision and imagination precede all action which will bring the ideal thought about into the physical world. This Our life is our thoughtsis at the same time both obvious and mind blowing! The office building was not there until the architect dreamed it up and wrote it down on paper. First thought, then action of drawing the blueprint. After that was done the next step is using imagination to visualize using the space and by this process refining and perfecting the design. Then it is time for engineering and building.

This is amazing but we don’t think about it, or do not put our awareness on it. But the same process to design a building or a bridge is the same for designing a life! You want to have a particular job = thought; you go to school to get the skills you need for the job/career  and as you do you imagine what you will be doing so you get filled with more ideas of things to learn; you “see” the future and you proceed to create it with the tools at hand.

Have you ever met or been with a person that is unhappy seemingly all the time? They complain that their life is horrible, that nothing goes right for them, that all they do turns to trash. Then you give advice or ask “why don’t you try…” and the answer is “that won’t work” or “Forget it, why bother what-you-think-you-becomeWhat-you-feel-300x300nothing goes my way” then they proceed to give you 5 or 10 ‘reasons’ nothing works for them. They blame society, government, circumstances all beyond their control. Can you see that they have Created their life in their minds! Their Predominant mental thoughts and attitudes have given them exactly what they asked for!

From Haanel line 16: “Thought will bring about conditions in correspondence with the predominant mental attitude. Therefore, if we fear disaster, and as fear is a powerful form of thought, disaster will be the certain result of our thinking.”  I go into that with my Blog post Week 10.

What do you want more of in life? What most of us desire at the base level is to be ‘Happy.’ I have often said to people if you want to be happy then go and be happy but most don’t get it. Happy is an attitude of mind and your attitude is your choice!  If everyone wants to be Happy but looks for it outside of themselves they never seem to find it. They say I will do this to make me happy and then they find it is lacking and not what they thought, it did not make them ‘Happy.’Cause of Happiness

We have already talked about Emerson’s “Give more to Get more from his essay on compensation. We will get exactly what we give, but we must give it first! Therefore, give happiness and you will become happy! Here is what Haanel says in line 22: Giving is simply a mental process, because thoughts are causes and conditions are effect; therefore giving thoughts of courage, inspiration, health or help of any kind we are setting causes in motion which will bring about their effect”

So the question is asked “How do I build my attitude so that I can give Happiness?” Good that you asked 😉 on this page look for the “7 Days to a new you” and sign up for it. This challenge, if you will, is the foundation for creating a positive and giving attitude. Let me know how you do!

If you will build your attitude so that you are happy you will become a channel, a conduit for the universal whereby the infinite can bring about the realization of your desire. But remember you must be positive and you must give! The world loves a joyful giver!

Week 9 – The Law of Growth

Well here I am through 9 weeks of this incredible experience of mental rebirth and I am more excited and blown away than ever! As noted before in earlier blog posts “We become what we think about” but often the question is how? and Why? Primarily it is because of the law of growth.

Focus grows

What ever we feed our attention to will become magnified in our mind. Have you ever seen a mob form and become uncontrollable? It begins with a thought or grievance that is repeated over and over with more and more feeling until it spills over into action (usually bad and unthinking because it has become completely emotional at that point). Like a sore on the arm where the scab is picked at continuously until it bleeds again or becomes infected. What ever we think about we add fuel to, we build up in our minds.

This ‘Law of Growth’ works for either good or ill. Hold in your mind the condition wished for and repeat it over and over by affirmation and it grows until you MUST have it. All action is the result or blossom of thought and conditions are the result of action, thus cause is Think -> Act -> have the resulting Condition.

I love this line: “Nature provides not only enough but abundantly, wastefully, lavishly, we realize that any lack or limitation is only the limitation which has been made by an artificial method of distribution.” – Part 9 #2

Again the power to think correctly for the things we would manifest into our lives is of the highest priority because what we think about grows. As we visualize and affirm what we want (if we control our thinking then to our what-you-think-you-becomeWhat-you-feel-300x300good, if we do not and allow the outside world to dictate our thinking then it is to our ill) we will visualize the outcome. Haanel writes in line 15 “Visualization is the mechanism…” and “The thing visualized will manifest itself in form”

It is our predominant mental attitude that is reflected in our environment. Not the other way around. Our predominant mental attitude and thoughts create the conditions and environment we live in.

This is the most powerful and both exhilarating and frightening concept to come to terms with. I am reminded of the old tale:

A young girl asks “Grandfather why is there bad in the world?” Grandfather replies, “All men have in them 2 wolves, a good wolf and a bad wolf. They constantly do battle to take control of the soul of the man and thereby control his actions and life” Granddaughter asks, “Do you have thisWolves too Grandfather?”  “Yes I do as do we all Granddaughter, We all have both the good and bad wolf fighting with in us” She quietly asks “But which one will win Grandfather?” And he says “The one that I feed my child, the one that I feed”   

This then is the Law of Growth. Which one will you feed?

WEEK 8 – MKMMA experience continues to grow in Focus

I Think Therefore I am! – Descartes

I once heard someone say “You are where you are, living the life and experience you deserve” I got incensed, He went on to tell me “Your circumstances are your own fault” now I was angry!  Maybe you are having negative feelings reading this and like me at the time thinking how can you say that? I did not choose to live like this! It was someone or something else’s fault.  But is it?

The Master Key part 8 – The lesson really knocks the wind out of excuses of thought. “If your thought is constructive and harmonious, the result will be good.”  and this one is killer,

“Any line of thought persisted in cannot fail to produce its result in the CHARACTER, HEALTH, and CIRCUMSTANCES of the individual”  

WOW! I am where I deserve to be or I am where I created to be, by my own thoughts. How? If I don’t like where I am then how do I change this?

IMAGINATION! 

Listen to what you say to yourself over and over, remember a thought repeated and with emotion becomes a belief, and you see that you are imagining a situation in your minds eye or reinforcing an image in your minds eye.

example: This always happens to me! when ever xxxxx then I get xxxxx OR Why do I always lose on these things OR I can’t win!

Do any of those thoughts sound familiar? Eh? Well stop it!

Imagination is the constructive form of thought – IE it creates things!

“You will certainly and unerringly bring to you the conditions, environment, and experiences in life, corresponding with your habitual, characteristic, PREDOMINANT mental attitude.” #18 Master Key System

Watch what you think and how you Imagine your life. Imagination and repetition is the key. “We can substitute habits of constructive thinking for those which have produced undesirable effects!” #3,4

To have a better outcome then use your imagination and substitute constructive thoughts for destructive thoughts. You are cultivating a mental attitude which will be conducive to constructive thought habit. Be aware of how you talk to yourself then stop it and change the narrative!

Line #24 “Successful men and women make it their business to hold ideals of the conditions which they wish to realize.” “Thoughts are the materials with which they build, and imagination is their mental workshop.” 

Imagine a better you, Imagine a better world, create your own circumstances and life! This is the train I am thinking in terms of IDEALS and using my imagination through relaxed reflection and projection and creating an AWESOME life and experience!

Now I understand and I agree, I am where I am because I created it in my own thoughts! And LOVE IT!
